The Entrepreneurial Management Mindset
Traditionally, entrepreneurs are recognised by their passion and energy in pursuing new opportunities. They take action to exploit opportunities and move quickly when there is a chance to profit from change and innovation. Successful entrepreneurs are able to engage the energies of others in pursuit of their goals and perform at their best when they blend their entrepreneurial flair with the disciplines of sound management practice. This requires an approach that combines the entrepreneur’s drive and enthusiasm with management knowledge, skills and ability. Entrepreneurship Institute Australia (EIA) has been established to assist entrepreneurs in the development of an entrepreneurial management mindset that recognises their inherent strengths and builds new management capabilities for success in a world of ever increasing complexity and uncertainty. EIA offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for young entrepreneurs who seek a better understanding of entrepreneurial business practices, and for the more experienced entrepreneurs who want to learn and improve their ability to manage entrepreneurial ventures. We invite you to join one of our programmes to learn more about entrepreneurial management and to experience the benefits of learning with and from like-minded entrepreneurs. Dr Selva Abraham |
